If I am driving from the States through Mexico into Central America what paperwork should I have for my dog

I highly recommend you contact the consulates of ALL countries you plan to travel thru.
I would not want to be held responsible for attempting to provide info for these countries, what
with things changing on a daily basis........
Certainly, you should want to have the APHIS 7001 international health cert issued in USA  AND
endorsed by usda..... Also, valid rabies vac: at least 30 days old and less than 1 yr.
I highly recommend microchip even though it might not be required.
Some Spanish translation would be MOST useful.  You might provide the EU form 998 English-Spanish
Though this form is for Europe, it would have all the pertinent info in both languages ready for
all border crossings.
