travel with my dog between macau & hong kong

Hello,

I've tried to research on information on ways (the easier the better) to travel with my dog either 1) from Macau to Hong Kong, and 2) from Hong Kong to Macau, but seems like there isn't too much information out there. (My dog will be registered in both Hong Kong and Macau, and will have all the necessary vaccines done.)

It would be great if my dog will be allowed on the ferries between the two places, but seems like this is not an option.

Could you please offer some expertise on this if possible? Does my dog need to take a cargo flight or ship ride in order to enter / leave Macau? Any quarantine and particular procedures necessary?

Any information will be much appreciated.
