Question
I have adopted a 2 month old pup from greece, she is having her rabies and blood test done by a vet in greece. To avoid the costly quarantine in england,my friend in brussels has offered to look after her till she can come into the uk.How do we fly her to brussells?does she need to have someone to take her on the flight or can she go in as cargo, with my greek friend dropping her off at rhodes airport?

Answer
Remember the dog must have in this order: microchip   rabies vac
then the blood test.  Then if the blood lab work comes back good, the
6 mos wait starts at the time of blood draw.
Most vets will not issue rabies vac until pet is 3 to 4 mos old.
If this is the dogs first rabies vac, and it probably is, you will
need to wait at least 3 weeks from the time of the rabies vac before
the blood test is taken.

Be sure you are dealing with a vet that knows what he/she is doing....  You can use any airline that flys between Greece and
Brussels.  The dog can go by itself as cargo.  I do not know what
flights there would be from Rhodes.  May need to go via Athens.
