marine dying

please can you advise, i set up a 2 foot marine tank,and all seemed to be ok, then my fish started dying, yet all my coral and shrips and other living stuff looked and apeared to be fine, i then changed the tank to a 3 foot last week, and for the first 3 days all seemed to be fine (no fish in the tank) now it apeares that none of my coral are opening up, my star fish has been in the same place for 2 days, and my water test seems perfect???

any ideas???

could you please give me some more info on your tank, like how much live rock you have, what equipment your using and how long the cycle took? also need to know your water stats and what test kits your using.

corals will sulk for a bit after a tank/large water change so i wouldn't worry about them too much.
