Tank Decor

Hello,

a friend of mine has given me some very nice decor for my tank that he made in his pottery class. however, i am unsure if these items are safe to put into the tank. what do think and/or what would you do? i have a 90 gal with south american cichlids.

Hi Gerald;

They should be just fine as long as the glazes are "food safe". Your friend will be able to tell you for sure by looking on the glaze labels. Rinse the pottery well to remove any dust or other stray particles and use them.
