HELP! Need Bio Spira

Do you know if you can find Bio Spira in stores or do you order from somewhere? I beleive you are the one that asked ed about nitrites in highes levels. I am trying to save my beautiful parrot fish OTis.

Please Help or anyone

Hi Lisa,
Bio Spira can be found in SOME pet stores but not Petsmart or Wal Mart.
It can also be ordered online but it is super expensive to ship becasue it has to be shipped cold. Just do an Internet search "buy bio spira on line."
What's the problem?
Ammonia?
Nitrites?
How big of a tank?

If the fish is showing signs of being sick and you think it is ammonia, please do a 50% water change. Even if you have to do 50% water changes every day until the water settles down. Adding live plants also kills ammonia. Try to find a live floating plant called Hornwort, or any live plant.
Let me know how you do. Also add stress zyme according to instructions, but once you add stress zyme or Bio Spira, no water changes until the water settles down.
