Question
Hey Karen...I understand completely, no problem what so ever!  I registered there and my member name is jboy43 but I dont know is\f im just a dummy or what but I couldnt find your name or figure out how to post the pic.  However I did do more research and im almost positive my loner was an obliquiden!  Im going to pick one up today that I had ordered but guess what....I now have a red empress thats hanging out at the top of the tank{RRRRR}.  There is also a small trace amount of ammonia still in the tank...im at my wits end on that though.  Maybe you can find me at that site better than I can find you.  All I can do now is pray that ammonia trickles off!  Have a great day Karen!

Answer
Dear Jay,
I'll certainly try to contact you as soon as I can! I'm glad you joined TFH magazine's forum. It's a really nice place to get reliable information from experienced fishkeepers.

Now your red Empress is hanging at the top like the loner fish did? what luck.... :( This could simply be because your aquarium has a trace amount of ammonia. I bet once you get rid of that by daily large water changes and lots of patience, I bet he will do much better.

I will certainy try to find you at TFH. If I do I'll PM you if I can.

I really hope things straighten out with your aquarium and all those cichlids!

Best wishes as always and take care,
Karen~
