QuestionIs is possible to transplant a 3-striped Damsel (who is quite aggressive) into a freshwater tank? Is it true that they can become immune to the freshwater?
Thanks
AnswerClare,
the short answer is no, you can acclimate them to a low salinity but they will not survive long in pure fresh water.
I keep my store fish at 1.18 or less to inhibit disease and that works well, but for long term they need the correct salinity.
If you have other questions, just ask.
