Question
I have received a new aquarium set up kit for Christmas and it came with a 35 gallon (I think) aquarium, (31.5" by 11.8" by 15.7") a fluorescent canopy and light, an AquaClear 200 power filter, a thermometer, two fake plants, a fish net, nutrafin max flake food, cycle,AquaPlus, and waste control water conditioner a heater and gravel. Is there anything else that I would need (other then fish :P)

Answer
Before you set it up i suggest you get some water conditioner and a product called
cycle:
Contains beneficial bacteria; nitrosomonas and nitrobacter
- Works together with other beneficialk strains to eliminate harmful toxins
- Super concentrated
- The ideal mix of beneficial bacteria to make the aquarium water purer and the environment healthy

it will save you allot of time and probably with reduced fish loss during the cycle process.

I would suggest you buy some water testing equipment as well, including a ph tester, ammonia testing, nitrite and nitrate tester.

I would also suggest you read into "how to cycle your aquarium"  read up on this website for further in depth instructions http://www.firsttankguide.net/cycle.php
