placo

Question
I have a 55 gal. tank with a placo (approx 14 inches) how many algae disks should I be feeding it? the water seems to haze up pretty quick with uneaten food... but I don't want to starve it either... I'm new to all this.

The best thing you can do for a pleco about that size is give it 4-5 and feed when ever it looks like it's out of them. Another thing you can do is leave your aquarium light on to produce algae so he can eat without worrying about the tablets destroying your water quality. I hope this helps!
