my pregnant mollie

I think my silver molly is pregnant her belly is pretty bubbly, how long is a fish pregnant for???  When should I expect to see the babies?????????????

Hi.
In between 3 and 4 weeks she will probably give birth. Remember Mollies are livebearers so no eggs will hatch, fry will be born. Also, Mollies and other livebearers store sperm, so don't be surprised if, in a few weeks, she gives birth to more fry. Also, she will eat her young, so remove them into a breeding net (which you can buy at fish shops) or another tank. The breeding net will float on top of the tank to prevent the mother eating her young.
