my mollie fish

Question
i have 3 orange mollies [2 female, 1 male] and one silver male mollie.
i'll try to put this the best sounding way i can; i've been noticing
that one of my orange mollies has been pooping alot. Practically every
time i check on her she has a long strand of poop hanging along her side. all my
other fish seem to be fine. i'm just worried. someone said it could be constipation, is that true? [why would she be pooping so much if shes constipated?] thank you so much for your time!

Hey Anna,
I like when people just say poop because it is a pain to try and say "waste" "fecies" and all of that without offending people. Just say poop! =]

It's probably nothing to worry about. She might just eat alot, and that's not bad either, especially if she might be pregnant (which might also have to do with it).

My mollies are always pooping too, it's really nothing to worry about. I once heard that it is actually healthy, but I really don't think it makes a difference.

I agree, constipation doesn't make sense because she wouldn't be pooping at all (this actually is a problem) so it can't be that.

I think it's great that you care enough about your fish to ask this question. When people go unknowing about things it just leaves space for stuff to go wrong. It's good to be on your feet. =] good luck with your mollies!
