Question
I have 55g octagon tank for fresh water .I just bought a aqua clear power head 70 is this enough or do i need a under gravel filtration system ? I hope not cause I really don't like them.

You only need one filter in a tank, assuming that filter has a big enough range for your aquarium. Does the package say that it can be used on 55 gallon tanks? If so, then it cycles enough water on its own without the aid of any other kind of filter. An undergravel is not necessary, but to do a similar job I recommend syphoning your gravel once per week.
