HELP!! My fish are sick

Question
Okay this is all new to me, I'm taking care of my brothers fish while he is away and the fish seem to have two types of parasites. I know one Is IcK but can not figure out the other. I have a 55 gallon tank with 6 fish, the types of fish are, 2 cichlids (1 I believe to be female and the other male) 2 Plikostomi, 1 shark (I'm not sure what kind) and 1 Albino Oscar (I also had a Black Oscar but I lost her last week)

I have done a treatment for the Ick but it all has not died. As for the other parasites they are very small round specks with two fuzzy leg like limbs on what seems to be the back side. They also dart vary quickly through the water and all most look like they crawl on the rocks.

I have also checked the water PH and chemical balance, witch is normal, on a regular bases and I've vacuumed the tank every time I do a treatment and before this happened I was doing it every week just because I water my plants with the water. I do have live plants in the tank but I don't know what kind my mom bought them.

I just don't know what to do I don't want to loose another fish I'll be so grateful if you could direct me to my next step. Thank you for your time.

Answer
With Ich you have to raise the water temperature to between 80-84 degrees and add oxygen to the water.  Continue the treatment and the ich will go away.   Ich has a nine day life cycle but is immune to medication for 8 of those nine days.  If you raise the temperature the life cycle drops to about 3-4 days and the parasite is easier to kill off.  For the other parasites I would treat the tank with flukes tabs and see if that helps... you could also try a copper treatment for the parasites as well... keep me posted dave
