Question
I own a male betta and he's been kept in a bowl all his life. I was wondering whether it would be OK if I were to put him into my main aquarium tank. The main tank temperature is around 26 degrees Centigrade. It's getting really difficult to keep more than one tank!
Glad you could help,
Jane :)

Answer
You can try that, though I never had luck when ever I tried to place a Betta in my 33 gallon tank. He stayed in one corner so it was sometimes easy and sometimes not so easy to make sure he was getting his food. He stayed behind the filter and tore up the fins on my Angelfish after a few days I went in and saw him chasing them down. If you have any fish with long fins in that big tank, don't do it!
Betta's each have their own personality so if you do add him to the tank be extra careful and check on them often, also be sure he's getting the proper food, also that other fish will leave him alone because Betta's do tend to sit in one place for awhile. I hope this helps!
