Betta not swimming well

Question
My betta has not been swimming well for the past two weeks.  He usually floats to the top, sideways or wedges his body under his plant to remain bouyant.  I have tried the shelled cooked pea several times, I fasted him, I change part of his water every other day and he is still having problems.  I haven't dropped my fish or poured him too quickly back into his 1 1/2 gallon bowl.  I'm at a loss, what I am doing wrong or what am I not doing?

Answer
It sounds like Swim Bladder but that usually is a symptom of something severe. Try changing his food incase it's constipation. If that doesn't work, try some medicated fish food (bacteria and parasite but not at the sametime). If those don't work, try antibiotics you put in the water. Swim Bladder is the last sign. Your fish is running out of time.
