Molly fry feeding

Question
Hi, our dalmation Molly just gave birth on the 30th to 20+ fry, not all made it, but we have about 15 or so that seem to be doing well.

I wanted to know how much and how often the fry should be fed.  I bought some food for newborns that came in a pouch (I don't remember the name as I have transfered the food into a plastic tupperware.)  And I remember the package said to feed them a small amount often.  Well, how often is often?  I normally feed my fish once a day and I know the fry should be fed more often than that, but I don't want to over feed them.

Thanks for your help,
Bridget

Answer
Hey Bridget,
yes, I agree. packages can be very vague with the word often.

i feed mine at least twice a day, but normally three times. Just don't feed too much at each feeding. Feed as much as will be eaten, but not so much that there is a bunch of the food just sitting around in the tank.

Hope this helps! good luck with the fry, i hope they grow up healthy and happy! feel free to ask future qeustions.
Best wishes, Chelsey
