Question
hi richard,
i have 2 balloon molly`s that are mating.I was wondering how to prepare for the babies and how long does it take for them to have their babies?

Answer
Hi Melissa

You'll need a breeder net, preferably one that hangs inside your main tank. Make sure to put the babies in there as soon as you notice them in the tank. Don't put the mother in the breeder net to have the babies as this will stress her out and cause her to abort the birth. Balloon Mollies usually have their babies 6-8 weeks after mating.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Richard
