guppies sick

they are turning white around the mounth and eyes is this what they call rot. I have put med's in the tank and will i have to change the bio filter and the carbon filter after i did take them out of the tank

Sorry, I sent this to you already the day you sent this question to me but the site didn't send it. Sorry for the delay.

You don't need to change them if they are still pretty new, but you should rinse them in the sink before putting them back in. I would also put them in a container filled with some water and put in a small dose of the medicationto kill nething growing in there (if there is anything...play it safe).

It does sound like rot though, they should get better with the meds.
