New Tank, New Fish

Hey Michael it is tie again. i am going to get a 20 gallon tank for my birthday and i am going to get it set up and everything.  I want to get angelfish for my tank, but i heard they are salt water fish is that true? And how many angels do you reccomend i should get? Thanx for takin my ? Tie

Tie,
there are saltwater angelfish, but what we are talking about are freshwater angelfish from the Amazon Basin.
In a 20 gal tank you can put 4-6 small angels but they will outgrow that tank after a time.
If you are going with just angels you can dial in the conditions that they require.
Temp 78-80, ph 6.8-7.0 and plants to hide in.
