Betta Color

Hi Karen!

I'm a long time owner of Betta's, such awesome fish! =D

I just wanted to double check on something that I've just recently experienced for the first time. I got my Betta, a deep blue guy from a local petshop. He stood out to me for some reason and I decided to free him from that little bowl.

I got him home, and the next morning there he was showing his self off in the light and blowing bubbles! I was exstatic that he was so happy.

The thing I wanted to check with you on was the fact that his deep blue 'metallic' color now has a beautiful red lining his the bends in his fins. I think this is just a natural change isn't it?

All I can say is your betta is very happy. :-)

You obviously made him so happy that he is now showing more colors, a signal of his good mood and health. He sounds beautiful. Bettas are the coolest aren't they? They were my very first fish when I first started keeping fish. You just can't help not liking them.
