Question
I have a small coldwater aquarium kept where the temperature may drop as low as 60F.  I have White Clouds in the tank, and am having trouble cleaning up uneaten food.  It's making the water cloudy.  Could I introduce a bottom-feeding species that will help to clean the uneaten food? Is this the best solution?

Answer
Hi John:... the best solution is to gravel vacuum before the ammonia builds up so high you have fish loss... bottom feeders and algae eaters do a good job but they don't do a great job... you can purchase a gravel vacuum for about $12 at the local aquarium... I hope this helps... if not please feel free to ask me more questions... dave
