oxygen hunger in fishes

Question
can you tell me the symptoms of oxygen hunger which infects the fish respiratory system

Answer
When a fish requires more oxygen it usually presents in gulping like symptoms and perhaps slow swimming. The only fish who would be very likely to have this is goldfish as they require the most oxygen. However, if there is a very overstocked tank it is possible that other fish may begin to need more oxygen. A very quick and easy way to fix this problem is to buy an air stone. This is something that can be added to any tank, regardless of whether the fish need oxygen or not. You simply need: one air stone or bubble wall, a check valve, air tubing, and an air pump. The most expensive item in this list is the air pump but nearly everything else is very cheap. Just connect all the items as the instructions say and place the stone securely in the tank wherever is desired. Again, this can go in any tank with any fish. It gives off thousands of tiny or medium bubbles into the water which in turn release even smaller bubbles into the water which give the fish extra oxygen. Be sure to get all the required equipment and set it up correctly. Your local pet store should be more than qualified to help you in this instant. The air stone not only provides more oxygen but is decorative! I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
