hi matt,
when i started the ich treatment with salt and heat so last night my 5 fishes died.so it was unhappy situation,(may be salt ratio increase or so) so i remove the fishes in the bucket and remove everything from the tank including rocks, gravel, sand, wood and clean all filter and cotton pads, wash my ceramic rings,again settled the filter with pads, add ceramic rings and add dichlorinated water and nothing else then i added fishes, i don;t know i did it right or wrong.but i did,t put any gravel,stones or wood just i think may be some ich parasites still in that objects.still i maintain the temp. 31c and i did't add. salt in it. is it ok or i will add other stuff also.or after sometime i can add. that stuff slowly. help me matt, thanks for your past co-operation.

Hi Shahzad,
I am sorry for your loss.  We all encounter deaths here and there in the past also.  We all learn by trial and error.  

The gravel you removed could contain ich yes, but if you dry it out in the sun, the eggs and pods will die and you will be able to use it agian.  Ich remain dormant in the gravel and could strike at any time, killing the pods and eggs will prevent this.  On your next set of fish, keep the water quality good.  It will keep the fish's immune system strong and prevents ich from latching on to the fish.
