i wanna know how the hell do breed these guys because when ever i stick them together they just fight and he chances her around !!! HELP!!!!

Answer
Quaylee,

I cannot express enough how important it is to do all the research before you think about breeding. It is definitely not cheaper to breed than to buy a couple more. There are so many things you have to do before you buy the female. Do you have the micro worm and vinegar eel cultures already set up and growing? Do you have the 10 gallon cycled breeding tank with sponge filter and heater? Do you have the separate 5 gallon tanks with filters and heaters? One is for the female and one is for the male after the breeding is complete. Female Betta's can lay as many as 500 eggs. If you are lucky and they all live you will need 500 containers one for each fish. You will need 500 sponge filters and 500 heaters. Two days after the fry have hatched you will have to enough live food to feed them 4 to 5 times a day for the next 7 months.

The Siamese Fighting fish got their name for a reason. If she is not ready to breed, there will be a lot of chasing and there is a good chance that it you are not watching the whole time he will kill her.

Please, do the foot work and all the research needed before you even think to breed. I would take her back to the store and get a couple more males if that is what you want to do. I do not think you are ready to breed and the fish will suffer if you do not know what you are doing. If after you have read every book and research the breeding of Betta's and you have ALL the things you will need, you still have questions and you are ready to breed, let me know.
