Chiclid

Hello, i have a 60gl tank with a few chiclids im sorry but im not 100% sure on what kind they are, i think they are African chiclids (convict chiclids-if that helps) and i want to mix other kinds of fish. i was thinking an ID shark, could you please let me know what kinds of fish i can mix with them?? also i know you cant mix different kinds of chiclids but i REALLY want a "parrot chiclid" (i think thats what they are) what do you think?

hi and thanks for the question....

you are partially correct in that u must becareful in what u mix in a tank with chiclids.  u CAN very successfully mix different chiclid species together, in fact i have done so in a 125 gal tank and also in 2 75 gal tanks.... introduce one or two at time becare ful and don't mix peaceful tetras with them, no barbs or dwarfs unless u know what they are.  hope my advice helps
