deacons and bala

Can i keep deacons with other tropical fish. bala keeps his
mouth open

Unfortunately I am not aware of a fish called a Deacon. Is this fish in the Cichlid family. As for the Bala, you have a water condition problem. He might have a bacteria infection. They can get whats called mouth rot and that might be what he has. In your search bar type in bala shark care and follow the directions.
