Question
Hi Matt,
Could you please advise on getting rid of the small tiny worms permanently and completely. I see them on glass or swimming in my aquarium. They are mostly active at night when I turn the light off. I think these are Nematode worms.
Thanks

Answer
Hi jack,
If you do not have any plants or inverts in your tank, add aquarium salt to the tank to kill the worms.  1tbps for every 5 gallons of aquarium water.  If you do have plants or inverts, remove them to a different tank first temporarily.

Sometimes the little worms may stay forever unless you restart the tank.  Thats why one must quarantine fish and plants before adding it to a tank.
