Bacteria supplements

Hallo Karen.

I would just like to find out I've it is neccesary to keep on adding something like hagen's cycle or sera's nitrivec. Is it a good thing to still keep on adding the bacteria supplements although there are sufficient bacteria in your tank. What do you do? Do you add it to your tanks also know and then. It is just a question then came up to mind. SO please help me in this matter.

The simple answer to this is- no, it's really not necessary to keep adding bacteria supplements. An established tank with plenty of water changes is all fish will need. Sometimes it's good to add these bacteria supplements when first starting a tank or after a period of medicating. But otherwise, it is really not needed.
