A few days ago I asked you a question about my 2 balloon mollies that are mating.I was wondering if the other fishes in my tank will eat the babies before i could put them in my breeding net? and what must i do to protect the babies untill i could put them in the breeding net if they come wihout me knowing.

list of other fishes in my tank (not all scientific names):
1 Guppy
2 white skirts
1 platy
2 Zebra fish
3 slavin mollies
1 red eye tira

The other fish in your tank will likely eat the babies, especially the Guppy, White Skirts, Mollies and Platy. The best way to protect the babies until you can put them in the breeding net is to provide them with plenty of hiding places. Bushy plants, floating plants, caves etc will give them a chance to hide until you can place them in the safety of the breeder net.
