African Dwarf Frogs;proper tank size

Question
Hello Matt, I've got a spare 10 gallon tank and was wondering if that would be fine for 5 ADF's?  I want them to thrive, not 'just survive'.

Is a 10 gallon too small?  I see people do keep them in that size but I only use 10 gallons for Bettas, one in each. Do these frogs like to move distances and need a much roomier tank?  Also, could I've read that cory catfish are good in the tank with the ADFs. Will they thrive in that size of tank, say 3 of them or are they really needed?

If a 10 gallon is great then can I just fill it 3/4 full of water or should I fill the whole height of it? I'm thinking of the weight and where I want to put it.

Is there any other care that you know of for them?  I've read so much and again, just like with fish, many diff. opinions.  I've read not to feed them freeze dried worms as they can cause bloat.  Also have read that sand is very hard to syphon and causes problems when trying to clean.  I imagine the frogs would love to be in sand as opposed to gravel but I don't want syphoning problems.

Thanks for any info please.

Answer
Hi Paula,
They should do fine in a 10g tank.  They do not get very big.  I think the biggest I have ever seen an ADF is an inch big.  3/4th of the water is also fine.

The sand is not hard to siphon is you have a gravel vacuum.  It all depends on the tube of the vacuum.  If the tube is big, more than likely the suction power is high.  Smaller tubes with a vacuum, do not suck up sand.  I have one tank with sand, and no sand gets sucked up when I clean it.
