Bent fish!!

Hi Karen,  I got 2 fancy gold fish they kept breeding so i have then in seperate tanks to keep them comany i put 2 small zebra tropical fish in with each gold fish the water in the tank is always super hot and the fish i got are happy in 60degree temps so they seemed happy enough. yesterday i fed them and noticed that one of the skinny zebra fish looks bent, still swimming around eating, has it got sucled into the pump or is it sick?

Hi Katie,
I've seen Zebra Danios do this a lot. Sometimes it seems to happen overnight, or if they eat too much at one time. It can also be due to old age or tumors resulting from old age. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it. They usually aren't sick in the sense of needing medication but just good care.
