Question
I recently paired up my male electric blue with a regular jack to get the genes for breeding the blues...the female has laid her eggs and both fish are doing good...I would like some info on feeding and raising the little ones and how long can i keep them with the parents...I also have a plecko in the tank and would like to know if its a danger...the tank is a 75 gallon tank...thanks Ron

Answer
Hi Ron,
Like any Central American, the fry will be relatively small but should accept frozen baby brine shrimp.  I would go with that.

You can likely keep the kids with the parents for about 3 weeks to a month.

The pleco is only a danger until the kids are free-swimming.
