QuestionQUESTION: Hi Ron,
I have a question for you. my brother gave me his Convicts, there was 13 of them. The largest one has killed all of them except one..including females. I have the tank divided and the they are almost equal in size now. They charge each other still and try to sneak between the divider. Sometime successful. I want to get more females but what is the point? He is ginormous! My brother says that he is a fantastic but he is a bully and I am afraid that he is getting depressed. What can I do to help them?
ANSWER: Hi Hannah,
How large a tank are we talking about here?

QUESTION: Hi Ron,
The tank is 15 gallon, lots of rocks(the dig all the time) but up root the plants because of their digging.
AnswerHi Hannah,
I would only ever put a single pair of convicts in a 15 gallon tank. I would definitely not put a male and a female together in half a 15 gallon tank -- you can pretty much bet that the male will kill the female under those conditions.
