my red cap

QUESTION: How can i know if my red cap was female or male? whta is the diffrent of the two? Please give some tips to protect my fish to deasese?

ANSWER: Hi MJ,
  I am not sure which kind of fish you are referring to when you say "red cap"?  There are 28,000 species of fishes so it is hard for me to guess -- many of them have red on the head. Can you give me any more information?

QUESTION: HI AGAIN, SORRY IF I DID NOT MENTIONED IT THE KIND OF RED CAP,THE ONE HAVE RED ON HEAD " what do u call this fish"? AND PLEASE TELL ME WHICH IS FEMALE OR MALE ? HOW MANY MONTHS OR YEAR MAYBE TO GET IT PREGNANT ?

  Is it a kind of goldfish?   

  If so, I can't tell you the sex.  I can tell you that they are egg layers, so the female won't ever get pregnant as such.
