Hi
Can you please tell me if a fish is classed as a vertabrate. As i understand it vertabrates are Birds, Amphibians, Mamals And Reptiles.

Hi Graham,
 It depends on how much detail you want to go into but the short answer is yes, fish are vertebrates.  

Vertebrates include:

 hagfish
 lampreys
 sharks
 bony fishes
 amphibians
 turtles
 snakes and lizards
 crocodiles
 dinosaurs
& modern birds
