Is this normal?

My gold mickey platy is pregnant. Is it normal for the gravid spot to be larger on one side than it is on the other? Thank You!

 That is an excellent question and I don't know the answer.  Sorry.
It wouldn't surprise me if the spot was larger on one side than the other.
