Question
Heyya. I have a cichlids tank. all are around 2.5 inches. a pair of red devils,a pair of mono angels,a pair of zebra convicts,a pair of electric yellow cichlids. I am planning to introdude a flowerhorn and a pair of oscars.... of size 3.5 inch. is that okay?

And another problem.... since a few days my cichlids are not showing interest on the food...some company's red pellets. i was feeding it for the past few months including e.shrimp and blood worms. now i am planning to stop all those and start some high quality food. but the problem is....their stomach lost shape...i cant really describe it but it has no stomach....just like we become thinnn and our ribs are visible.... what must i do?

Answer
Manish,
It is hard to tell if it's ok to add the other fish because I do not know the size of your tank. To add a pair, the smallest size tank you can put them in is 120 gallons, and that is if they are the only fish in the tank. Research will show you that these are pretty aggressive fish and you might have problems with smaller fish. Oscar might think they are food. Oscars can grow to 18" so the tank has to be large. As for food, I am thinking that you are not feeding a high quality Cichlid food. There are several on the market, just read ingredients and feed accordingly.
