Brown worms in oscar tank

Question
I have a 60 gal tank with a 4 oscar and a 6 inch pleco. I have 2 60 gal external filters and I do a gravel vacuum and 15 gal water change every week. In my gravel and floating in my water, I have small brown worms. I have seen 1 on my oscar but no attached but crawling on it. My question is will the worms hurt my oscar or my pleco? Also how to get rid of them? And Will my pleco eat them?

Hi Ben,
 In general the worms are not really a problem but they suggest that too much uneaten food is getting down to the bottom of the tank, where the worms are feeding on it and mutliplying.  Is this a possibility?
