Very sick goldfish

Hi Ron,

I hope you can help me!

I have a 13 year old goldfish, and she started getting sick earlier today. She just lays sideways at the bottom of her tank, kind of in an arch. She isn't eating, and when I put my hand in the water to try and get her moving she kind of turns upside down or sideways immediately, flops about for a bit, like she doesn't have full use of her tailfin or something.

I live in Holland (in Europe) and it is not 2 in the morning, I'll go to a pet shop in the morning to see if they can help, but any additional information/tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Michelle,
 Sadly, I think your goldfish is just getting very old and I don't think there is much that you can do for it.  Sorry.
13 years is a good long life for a goldfish. You must have treated her very well.
