QuestionThanks for the great advise, but unfortunately I did treat the ich but it was too late for my red devil and it passed on, I have only 5 survivors and they are currently doing well. I found your advise to be very helpful.

-----Question-----
I just recently purchased a 55 gal tank and I had my red devil in a 10 gal which he was aggresive but healthy, all of the sudden he got sick when I put him with a baby shark that I later notice had spots of ich on its body and just yesterday died. How can I save my red devil from doing the same? Please I need your help ASAP!!!!

Hi Lucy,
Treat the tank for Ich immediately. Red devils are pretty hardy fish and he should pull through if you start right now.
I wouldn't suggest adding other fish to that tank, not because of the ich, but because your red devil will likely just eat them. They don't play well with other fish.

AnswerHi Lucy,
I'm very sad to hear that. The biggest problem with ich is that by the time it is visible, it is already well on its way to doing a lot of damage. Sorry.
