i have an adult jack dempsy every time i buy small fish he eats them i trie to feed him pellets and flakes and shrimp but all he wants is feeder fish should i feed him this

Hi Paul,
 It is dangerous to feed your fish with feeder fish. Very often feeder fish carry various parasites, such as ick, and these are easily transmitted to your fish.  I do not ever feed my cichlids, even very large ones, with feeder fish.  

 It will take some time to switch him over, but I suggest you stop feeding your fish with feeders and only ever offer pellets or sticks in the future.  Eventually he will eat them.
