QuestionAfter the fry are born i have read that you are supposed to separate the fry from the mother guppy, the female is the only one in my (spherical)tank, when the fry are born should I put the fry in the other tank by themselves or should i put the female in the other tank? I was worried the newborn fry would be to fragile to move with the net.
AnswerHi Georgia,
Actually the fry are a lot more robust than you might imagine but there is a risk of squishing them if you are not careful. You can move either the fry or the mother but it is much easier to catch one mother than it is to catch a bunch of fry.
