Is my betta fish pragnant

Hi my Betta fish is making bubbles on the top of the water and so when got the fish from wal-mart the lady said if the fish is making bubbles on the top of the water it's pregnant. is it true?

Hey there

If your fish is blowing bubbles, it means you have a male Betta so he can't be pregnant and if he is blowing bubbles on the surface it means he is hapy so well done ;)

He is also telling you he wants a mate but I wouldn't get him a mate, just leave him as he is happy =]
