a depressed black moor?

23 13:59:27

Question
I have a single black moor that I keep in a 10 gal. aquarium. This fish used to be fairly active, but has recently begun to lie on the bottom of the tank supported by its fins. It has taken to hiding as well, something it did not do before. I change the H20 every2 weeks and feed it twice daily with small amounts of both floating and sinking pellets. There is no indication of parasites. Is this normal beharvior?

Answer
Hi Greg,
Is the water warmer than normal?  This can cause this sort of behavior.  Do you have a good airstone in the tank? This is particularly important if the water is a little warmer than usual.
