Question
Hi, I am wanting to know if guppies can go in the same tank as Gourami's Angel's, Brichardi's and Dafodli's(dafodil's) which ever they are called and chain loaches please???

Answer
Hi Diana

You've got some problems in this tank we need to correct. NO Guppies cannot go in that tank! They will quickly become dinner.

Next, The Brichardi and Daffodils cannot be with the Angels and Gouramis. Among many other reasons, the water requirements are too different. Brichardi and Daffodil need a pH of 8.5 - 9.0 and the Angels and Gouramis need a softer pH of 6.5 - 7.5

Brichardi and Daffodils are African Cichlids and should only be mixed with other African Rift Lake Cichlids from Lake Tanganyika. Aside from the water chemistry requirements, they are too aggressive for the average community fish. Although a more peaceful of the African Cichlids, when breeding they can become quite aggressive and have been known to kill when defending their turf.

Please separate these fish as soon as possible to avoid certain death of the Angels, Loaches and Gouramis.

Good luck!

Richard
