Question
Thanks for your response yesterday to my chlorine question! Heres another question....My beta that I brought home yesterday doesnt look like its eating. I bought regular beta food for her. The pellets are on the bottom of her bowl, uneaten. What do I do? I dont want her to die! Also, how often should I change her water? Is there anything I need to do for her besides water changes and feedings? Thanks so much for your help!

Answer
hello diane... my betta didnt eat either(from the top)she ate from the bottme...they eat from both top and bottem so dont worry about her dieing just keep feeding her her regualar feeding times (i recommend you feed her some blood worms, you can pick them up at the pet stores)

For water changes you can change 25% of the water every week or soo, becuase bettas live in puddles they are use to murky waters:) also the bubble nests they make at the top (a lot of bubbles together) of the tank help them. they make those bubbles then every once in a while you will see them go up and eat at bubble...that helps them breathe in mucky waters.
