New Oscar fish

Hi I bought 2 oscar fish the other day. I have a 55 gallon tank and I tested the water and its fine. My question is sometimes the oscars lay low almost sideways. Is this normal and when should I take action if this behavior dosent stop? Also I plan on doing water changes every week but I have only had them for a couple of days.

Hi Erin,
  This is pretty normal for oscars when they have just been moved. It may take them several weeks to get used to their new home.  Be patient with them and be sure to do those regular partial water changes.
