Answer
Hi M;

First make a 25% water change. Be sure to use a water conditioner.

Next, go to the fish store and get three things to add to the tank;

**New ich medicine (7 years is a long time and it's better to use fresh)
**MelaFix (helps soothe and heal their skin)
**Aquarium Salt (helps prevent secondary infection and weakens the parasites)

While you are at the fish store take a jar of tank water to have it tested for levels of the following;

Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
pH

Be sure to get actual readings. Don't let them tell you "it's okay" or "the pH is off a little". Get numbers.

I need a bit more info about your tank and fish too besides the water tests;

How big is the tank?
How long has the tank been set up?
How big are each of the fish?
What kind of filtration?
How often do you clean the filter?
How often do you usually make water changes?
How much is changed at one time?
When you added the new fish did you acclimate them?
Did you pour the transport bag water into the tank?

Even if you don't have the water tests done yet, it would be helpful for me to know as much as I can as soon as possible. Just give me the test results as soon as you can get them.......
