Malnourished beta

I left for a 3 day vacation, and forgot to make arrangements to feed my fish.  He went from very happy, to death-bed-esque...  His fins are now all shriveled, his color is fading fast, and he lays on the bottom with labored breathing.  Is there anything I can do to save him??

Hi Shannon,
Treat him with coppersafe, and marycin-two combined.  If his fins are clamped, he could have parasites, along with fungus or velvet.  These two medications should help him.  Change all your water if you do not have a filter, do a 25% water change if you do.  Make sure he has no ammonia, no nitrites, and that nitrates are safe.  Give the right dosage, never overdose.
I hope the little fellow will recover.
